The second phase of the Norfolk Southern Experience project was to create a new simulator to replace the outdated one in Norfolk Southern’s traveling exhibit railcar. Again working with the MediaBite collaboration team, Perfect Prototype created a completely new simulator software experience and retrofitted a re-fabricated train control stand to fit into the existing simulator exhibit. The new simulator software was also installed on the Phase I simulator in the Norfolk Southern Headquarters building in Norfolk, VA.

Additionally, Perfect Prototype reworked the existing windows 95 interactives to newer technology, and re-wired the multimedia stations to replace the out-of-date laser disk players with brand new solid state media players.
